My interests in serving on the Research Task Force are three-fold. Having been a member of the RMIT Vietnam faculty for six years, I have a deep interest in raising the academic profile of this university. I also believe that participating in research makes for inspired and engaged teachers who pass their enthusiasm for discovery on to their students. Finally, I believe that industry takes far too many of our most talented staff. I would like to help enable RMIT Vietnam to offer our staff meaningful reasons to remain in the academic field and opportunities to grow within it.
Admittedly, I have little experience in the field of academic research. I am only now finishing my own masters degree. However I am energetic, highly motivated, and well organised.
